I still remember him, my 5th standard class teacher. A guy with average height who looks as if he is a military officer. He was my then English teacher, also a perfect Social Science teacher. I still remember him teaching us about pygmies and their culture, all my classmates where laughing on seeing pygmies' pics in our textbook.
He was soooooooo good enough that he was our favorite teacher then. I still remember his impositions. I was unaware of "lumbering activities". So I got a handful of impositions about lumbering. He was good in twisting stories and playing games with us, so none of his classes were boring like present day professors.
I like him to be a social science teacher rather than an English teacher. I can recall his classes about reindeer and igloos. His classes were very much interesting and I used to get at least one beating per two days. To say frankly it was the only period in which I was active enough to get a teacher's mere scolding.
We didn't had him as a teacher for long, just one and only one year with us. As he interacted much with us (he was our class teacher) and he taught us far better than others, I think none of my schoolmates might not have forgot him. His name is Mr.Manish. I still remember the last day we gifted him a glass prism like stuff as a pert of sent off. Last time when I met him, he was working in Kerala State Education Department, Nilambur.
